David Warren, CEO/Chairman
Mr. Warren has a background in mechanical engineering and acted as a project manager for Chandler Security Systems for five years before establishing Armor Dynamics. He previously owned a research and development company that created products for the gaming industry. Mr. Warren is a former U.S. Marine with an extensive background in advanced materials and armor development. Mr. Warren has made several trips to Iraq since 2004 working on up-armoring projects in an effort to better protect troops. These trips have allowed Mr. Warren to keep apprised of the real-world threats soldiers and security personnel face today.
Malachy Meechan, President
Malachy joined Armor Dynamics in February 2011 and was appointed President of the company effective November 10, 2011. He brings with him over 16 years of experience in the financial industry, most recently at Goldman Sachs where he worked in the Global Economic Research Department developing and marketing qualitative and quantitative research products for institutional investors and governments. Mr. Meechan was instrumental in developing and establishing the global brand for Economic Research. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 1999, Malachy spent 5 years with Citibank’s Worldwide Security Services and Cash Management Divisions where he helped develop and institute Citibank’s securities service standards in developing and emerging markets. Malachy holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Center for Creative Studies and an M.F.A. in Fine Arts from Bennington College.
Jim Chandler, Vice-President Sales
Jim Chandler has been involved with Armor Dynamics since its inception, joining full time to head sales in 2011. Jim Chandler brings with him a network and knowledge within the law enforcement, corporate, and private security industry. Prior to joining ADI, Mr. Chandler was the owner and operator of Chandler Security Systems Inc., a privately owned security company based in Norwalk, CT for the last 25 years. Jim built the company into a complete security operation, offering security solutions and the latest technology to clients in an effort to seamlessly integrate and manage access control, ID management, alarm monitoring, physical asset management, digital video, and wide area network systems that are functional, cost-effective and expandable. Chandler Security Systems established a reputation in the security industry as an integrator that prided itself on workmanship and customer satisfaction, serving customers throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and abroad. Security clients included casinos, government and law enforcement agencies, Fortune 100 companies, college campuses, and nuclear power plants.
Michael Collins, Vice President of Business Development
Michael is New York City’s former Police Director for the Department of Environmental Protection. He is a security professional with three decades of experience in public safety, high-rise safety and architectural security hardening. He has worked globally advising business leaders, security executives and government officials. He has been a Special Assistant to the Mayor of the City of New York and Director of Security Planning for the New York City Water Supply System.
Michael has served as Director of Fire and Life Safety at Goldman Sachs Americas, Senior Vice President at American Defense Systems, and Chief Operating Officer at Alliance Defense Marketing Associates. He is a co-author of the BOMA White Paper on High Rise Emergency Preparedness and author of the Vulnerability Risk Assessment of the NYC Water Supply System. He is a past Chairman and President of the Military Association of New York. Michael is a founding member of the Joint NYC Law Enforcement Task Force on Infrastructure Security, former Vice Chairman of the Association of Life Safety Executives and a past member of the Police Executive Research Forum. He is a graduate of New York City’s Police and Fire Academies, has attended the University of Chicago Booth School, the Army War College NSS program, and the US Justice Department program at New Mexico Tech. He holds a Bachelors Degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
Andre Claridge, Executive Vice-President/CCO/CGAO
Mr. Claridge has more than fifteen years of experience in government, politics, and as an entrepreneur. Mr. Claridge is currently a Partner in PC Public Affairs, a firm specializing in lobbying, government and public relations. After leaving Governor Pataki’s administration in 2003, Mr. Claridge successfully started his own public affairs firm before joining Mercury Public Affairs/Fleishman-Hillard Government Relations in 2005. Mr. Claridge holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and successfully completed the New England Senior Executive Management Program at Harvard University.
David Gagnon, C.F.O, C.P.A.
David Gagnon is a certified public accountant with more than 15 years experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Gagnon has also served in the National Guard for nearly 18 years as a field artillery officer and more recently as a military police officer. He has been deployed many times since September 11, 2001 in support of Homeland Security Missions.
